How to get to JRC-Geel

IRMM is located 7 km outside the town of Geel.
To travel to IRMM the most convenient airport is the Brussels airport in Zaventem.

Another major airport is Eindhoven Airport (EIN / EHEH), which has international and domestic flights from Eindhoven, Netherlands and is 60 km from Geel, Belgium.

First you have to take the bus from the airport in Eindhoven to the train station in Eindhoven.
After that, you take the bus from the bus stop in Eindhoven to the bus stop in Reusel.
There, you take the bus to Turnhout train station.
In Turnhout station, you can catch bus 490 to Geel.

Of course, you can take a train in Eindhoven to Roosendaal, there change of train to Antwerpen and continue to Geel.

By train

Geel can be reached by train from Brussels, Antwerp and Liege.

From Geel train station to the conference venue, the best way is to take a taxi.

When you drive on N118, you will find a small street where you turn, with signs for VITO, European School and JRC-IRMM. Turn at the sign: JRC IRMM
The gates of IRMM are at the end of this road.

Enter the civic address Retieseweg 138. If Retieseweg 111 is not available, and this will direct you to the turn-off for IRMM. Alternatively, introduce the coordinates: 51°11'47'' N, 5°02'17'' E.




